Since childhood, we have been dedicated to water sports, and this lifelong passion has led us to several water expeditions around Europe, especially to the east to Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Mongolia.
Years of improving available vessels, and especially the unavailability of self-bailing canoes on the Czech market, led us to develop a vessel of our own design. From this decision, it was only a small step to found our own company, KUTLICI, in 2004. We produced the first canoes entirely by hand in a small workshop near Litomyšl, and testing took place with great fanfare on the Tichá Orlice river. Information about the new boat quickly spread among the water sports community, and the increasing demand at home and abroad pushed us forward again. Since December 2019, we have moved production to new, modern premises, where we manufacture inflatable canoes, kayaks, rafts, paddleboards, and related products such as boat bags, etc., in an area of 500m2 using the latest technologies.

All our products are still subjected to rigorous testing at water sports events and expeditions, and any new findings leading to improvements are immediately applied to production.
Ecology is not just an empty word for us
We care about nature and the planet we live on. We manufacture our boats from material produced in Germany, thus minimizing our carbon footprint, but mainly we try to process all residual material. We use it to make boat bags and sacks, for example. We are constantly thinking about how to process it differently. Simply put, every centimeter counts!
But it is also necessary to think about ecology on an expedition, which you can join us in doing. How? Simply, let’s clean up after ourselves so that no one knows we were ever there 🙂
