The Rio inflatable canoe with a self-bailing bottom is suitable for whitewater and canoe tourism. The exceptional strength and rigidity of the boat, excellent interior space, as well as perfect interior equipment predestine this boat for a wide range of paddlers. It is produced in several variants, so you can choose whether you are going on the water alone or with a family of four. The Rio inflatable canoe is a universal boat for your paddling adventures.
Construction
The construction and the material used create a perfect boat shape that does not need any additional reinforcements. The boat’s construction is ideal for multi-day trips on the river and has been tested in conditions of several-week-long demanding paddling expeditions.
Properties
Excellent driving characteristics, exceptional stability and rigidity of the construction are complemented by a self-bailing hole at the stern.
Accessories
The boat is equipped with a number of functional accessories that significantly increase your comfort (net for small items, transport handles, quick release for the pump, loops for tying boat bags, metal eyes, rope for tying, etc.).
If necessary, in rapids, when there is a risk of flooding the boat, you will certainly appreciate the drain sleeve, which immediately removes excess water from the boat and also helps clean the boat after the trip.
The sleeve can be conveniently closed if you are traveling on a calm river.
We use push-push type valves, which are comfortable to use and easy to disassemble and clean.
Fixing thigh straps are prepared for more difficult sections on the river.
Materials
We use exclusively materials from European manufacturers for the production of our boats, meeting all relevant EU standards, especially the REACH standard, which deals with the protection of human health and the protection of the environment.
We cooperate with leading German manufacturers of technical textiles such as Heytex and Low&Bonar.
For the production of canoes, depending on the type, we use materials of various weights with polyvinyl chloride coating technology or a mixture of polyvinyl chloride and polyurethane. The absolute top is made of materials with thermoplastic polyurethane coatings.
We carry out structural joints using high-frequency welding, hot-air welding, gluing or sewing technology.
All used materials, carefully selected production technology and original construction contribute to the exceptional rigidity and stability of the boat in normal and extreme conditions.
The main parts of the canoe are made of high-quality German Valmex material, which is highly resistant to tearing, abrasion and UV radiation, so it does not fade. The material complies with the European REACH directive and is manufactured according to the internationally recognized quality standard DIN 9001.
